I’m often asked for advice on how to choose the right photographer. It’s not just about finding someone with a fancy camera; it’s about finding an artist who resonates with your vision, makes you feel comfortable, and ultimately, delivers timeless memories you’ll cherish forever.

So, as you are on the search for your photographer, here are my top tips for choosing the photographer who will perfectly capture your story:

Photography has different styles. Do you love light and airy images that feel ethereal? Or are you drawn to moody, dramatic shots with deep colors? Or do you prefer true-to-color? This goes for shooting styles as well. Do you want your gallery to be mostly made up of candids or posed photos? When you are being posed, do you want it to be editorial? Or fun and playful? Or a mixture?
