DJ Mike “M7” Asiedu grew up in New York, and the city didn’t just influence his taste in music, it built his entire musical vocabulary. Hip-hop and afrobeats in the Bronx, reggaeton in Washington Heights, reggae and dancehall in Brooklyn, house music pulsing through downtown clubs. Every neighborhood had its own soundtrack, and Mike absorbed all of it. That’s not a backstory. It’s a skillset.
He started DJing in a college dorm room at Wesley College in 2009 and never stopped. What began as a passion project became a career built on one core belief: no two events are the same, and your playlist shouldn’t feel like it belongs to someone else’s wedding. Every set he builds is tailored from scratch, shaped around the client, the crowd, and the moment.

DJ Mike “M7” grew up in New York, and every neighborhood had its own soundtrack. Hip-hop and afrobeats in the Bronx, reggaeton in Washington Heights, dancehall in Brooklyn, house music downtown. He absorbed all of it, and that’s exactly what you hear in his sets today.
