Recently, the C West Entertainment crew had the absolute honor of delivering a massive, custom super package for the Arizona Asian American Association. Indeed, their 26th annual community celebration, the Arizona Asian Festival (STRIKE), was an absolute blockbuster event! When it comes to large-scale community festivals, we don’t just drop off a stage and leave; we engineer, design, and execute a fully immersive entertainment experience from the ground up.
Consequently, when it was time to load in, our crew executed the complete build flawlessly. We delivered, safely erected, and leveled a colossal 20’x40′ main stage. Furthermore, to protect the performers from the desert sun and provide a massive, secure rigging point for our production gear, we built a towering 40’x20’x13′ Custom Truss structure featuring a sleek Mesh Canopy Roof.
Therefore, to ensure everything was lifted and secured safely, our team utilized two heavy-duty 24′ Genie Material Lifts. We also integrated multiple staging add-ons to accommodate the complex run of show, including a dedicated 8’x8′ riser perfect for the heavy taiko drums, seamless 7-step stage stairs for easy access, and additional 2’x8′ and 4’x8′ staging blocks to lock the entire layout together flawlessly!

Meanwhile, what is a massive festival structure without face-melting, dynamic visual production? As the sun began to set, the event transitioned from a daytime cultural showcase into a highly visual, high-energy nighttime spectacle. However, professional lighting requires a professional eye. That is exactly why our dedicated Level 1 Lighting Designer was on-site for a full 10-hour day, operating the boards and actively adjusting cues to make sure every single performance looked completely cinematic!
In addition, we brought in our elite Stage-1 Lighting Kit, fully loaded with 5 dynamic Wash Lights, 3 intense Blinders, and 2 sturdy Light Trees to bathe the stage in color.
As a result, the incredible martial arts teams and cultural performers had the ultimate, professional platform to showcase their synchronized moves. From the glowing red wash lights illuminating the staff routines to the booming audio supporting every strike, the overall production value was completely unmatched. Ultimately, our Concert Edison Power, Audio, and Lighting Cable Package safely managed all the power runs behind the scenes, keeping the stage looking pristine, hazard-free, and ready for action.
