On a bright and energetic morning in Goodyear, Arizona, Buc-ee’s broke ground on its first-ever location in the Grand Canyon State—marking a major milestone for both the company and the local community.
Known for its famously clean restrooms, endless snack aisles, and iconic beaver mascot, Buc-ee’s has built a fan base that stretches far beyond Texas. The new Goodyear location, set to open just off Interstate 10, represents Buc-ee’s continued national expansion—and it’s one of the most talked-about retail arrivals in Arizona in years.
A Big Day for a Big Brand
The groundbreaking ceremony brought out Buc-ee’s executives, local government leaders, community members, and fans who couldn’t wait to welcome the brand. Speeches were made, dirt was turned, and the buzz surrounding the new store could be felt throughout the crowd.
This Goodyear location will follow the Buc-ee’s tradition of going big. At over 70,000 square feet, the travel center will feature dozens of fuel pumps, Buc-ee’s signature barbecue and fudge, and the kind of welcoming atmosphere that’s made them a road trip icon.
