When someone walks up to a podium, the whole room looks at that one spot. If the mic pops, the speaker sits in shadow, or the people in the back can’t hear, a nice podium won’t save the moment.
That’s why C West Entertainment provides podiums as one piece of a complete production. Our team plans the podium, sound, lighting, stage and video together, then runs it all on event day, so your speakers can walk up and focus on what they came to say.

What is a podium, and when does your event need one?
A podium, often called a lectern, gives a speaker a place to stand, rest notes and speak to a crowd. It also tells the audience where to look and makes a presentation feel more official.
You’ll probably want one if your program has formal remarks, several speakers, or a script someone needs to follow. A podium is especially useful when you’re giving out awards, handing out diplomas, or filming the speaker for a stream or event video.
Why podiums are full-production only
A podium is simple. Making it work well in front of a live audience isn’t. Here’s what has to line up:
- Sound: The mic has to pick up every speaker clearly, whether they’re tall, short, soft-spoken or stepping back from the podium.
- Lighting: Speakers need to be easy to see from the back row and on camera, without squinting into the lights.
- Placement: Sightlines, stage stairs, screens and speaker movement all affect where the podium should stand.
- Timing: Someone needs to be ready with the right mic, the right slide and the right music cue when each speaker walks up.
When one team handles all of that, you aren’t left coordinating vendors while your guests are finding their seats. Keeping podiums within our productions lets us stand behind the whole experience, not just one piece of equipment.
What a full-production package can include
Every package is customized to your event, venue and audience. Depending on what you need, your production can include:
- Your podium, planned into the stage layout and program
- Professional audio, including microphones and speakers sized for your room
- Stage lighting for speakers, awards and the overall room

- LED video walls or projection for slides, sponsors and live video

Can I rent a podium by itself?
No. Our podiums are available only as part of a full-production package. We don’t offer them as standalone rentals, including delivery-only or pickup orders.
What if I only need a podium?
We’re not the right fit for a podium-only order. Start by asking your venue, since many hotels and conference spaces can provide one. If your event also needs sound, lighting, staging or video, we’d be glad to talk through a full production.
What does a full-production package include?
It’s customized to your event, but it can include audio, lighting, staging, video, on-site crew and your podium. We’ll recommend the right mix after we learn about your program and venue.
How much does a podium rental cost in Arizona?

Will your team set up the podium?
Yes. As part of your production, our crew handles setup and teardown along with the rest of your event equipment.
Can you work with our venue?
Yes. We routinely work with venues across Arizona, and we can provide a certificate of insurance with your venue listed as an additional insured on request.
