With wedding season about to start and the summer months in full force, we thought we would round up our best advice for newlyweds in the valley of the sun.
Having a wedding in Arizona means that you have to deal with many factors that will impact your event. After doing hundreds of events, and dozens of weddings a year we have gathered a few of the most important tips for newlyweds as they enter wedding season.
1. Factor In The Weather
Remember that the seasons will heavily impact where you will want to have your wedding. When planning, take into consideration the weather. I know, it sounds cheesy, but one of the biggest things we’ve experienced has been the heat.
We heavily advise having your wedding between the cooler months (Sept-Dec, or Jan-March) as these are the best times to enjoy an outdoor ceremony.
Though we do still love to attend and DJ in the summer months it can be overbearing. Think about it, would you like to have your priceless wedding dress covered in sweat because it is June 13th? Now, we’re not saying DON’T get married outside of the wedding season, of course, but take into consideration your location. It’s almost like buying a house. Location, location, location.
2. Timelines Are Your Best Friend
Keep a Timeline. Whether you’re planning your wedding yourself or you have hired a professional, it is always helpful to make sure everyone is on the same page. We’ve made documents ourselves at C West Entertainment that we use with every bride for their wedding.
This help chooses the songs for the First Dance, the Father-Daughter, and the Mother-Son dances. We know you’ve got a million and a half things going on during this planning time so we try to make it as easy as possible for you to be able to plan your wedding. Our documents come with sections for the timeline, address for the location, names of the wedding party, and the other special events.
We suggest making sure your special night is well-planned so it can run smoothly!
3. Go With The Flow
Be flexible. The night is full of happy surprises… and some unpredictable ones as well. But, always be able to roll with it. We’ve seen it all and know how to just keep it rolling.
Now we don’t advise skipping the planning phase. Come on, that was tip number three! However, you should be reminded of the fact that life changes in mysterious ways. It’s not that you don’t know the horrors that lie beyond the gate but that you will need to adjust your armor when you’re inside.
Your wedding is going to be a wonderful night and we will help you get there.
4. Trust Your Wedding Professionals
